Duties
- Safely load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
- Pack belongings carefully to prevent damage during transit, utilizing proper packing techniques and materials
- Assist with route driving to deliver or pick up items efficiently across designated locations
- Operate commercial vehicles like box trucks with manual transmission to transport goods securely
- Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools, packing supplies, and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the moving process and addressing any concerns professionally
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with moving operations preferred
- Valid driver’s license with experience in delivery driving or route driving; commercial driving experience is a plus
- Ability to operate a box truck or similar vehicle with manual transmission confidently
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks involved in moving or packing items
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to load & unload activities and equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Customer service skills to interact positively with clients during moves
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at job sites

Pay: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour
