Responsibilities
- Safely operate motor coaches for various routes, including charter and tour services, following all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, mechanical integrity, and compliance with maintenance standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and answering questions professionally.
- Maintain communication with dispatchers and team members using clear, effective communication skills to coordinate schedules and report any issues promptly.
- Drive in diverse conditions, including adverse weather situations, while practicing defensive driving techniques to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all state transportation regulations and DOT requirements related to commercial driving and air brake systems.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage logs, safety inspections, and incident reports as required by company policies and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for motor coach operation and medical certificate. Requires a clean Motor Vehicle Report, Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Background reports and FMCSA Clearinghouse.
- Proven experience in bus driving with a focus on safety and customer service.
- Mechanical knowledge of motor coaches to assist with basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, state transportation rules, and defensive driving principles.
- Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions safely while maintaining control of the vehicle.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members.

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
