POSITION TITLE: Mobile Maternal and Mental Health Clinic Outreach Driver

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Outreach Driver supports the Mobile Maternal and Mental Health Clinic in the community by ensuring safe and timely transportation of the mobile unit, staff, and equipment to community locations. The driver plays a critical role in facilitating access to prenatal, postpartum, and behavioral health services for pregnant women and mothers with dependent children.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate and maintain the mobile clinic vehicle, including routine inspections, fueling, and reporting maintenance issues.
- Transport clinical staff, peer specialists, and program materials to designated community sites according to the outreach schedule.
- Support staff and participants in loading/unloading materials and assist with basic logistical needs during mobile clinic operations.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic, safety, and regulatory standards for mobile clinic operations.
- Assist with outreach activities as needed, including distributing educational materials and engaging with community members.
- Report any operational or safety concerns to program management promptly.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred if required by vehicle type.
- Experience operating large vehicles or mobile units is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle safety, maintenance, and inspection protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical and outreach staff.
