NEMT Staffing is assisting a client with the placement of a full-time Medical Transportation Driver in the Brandon area.

To be considered, applicants must:
✔ Have a valid U.S. driver’s license
✔ Have a clean driving record acceptable to the employer and insurance carrier
✔ Be able to provide a 7-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
✔ Have no recent DUI, DWI, reckless driving convictions, major violations, or license suspensions
✔ Be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical)
✔ Pass a criminal background check
✔ Pass a pre-employment drug test
✔ Have reliable transportation to and from the reporting location

About the Position
This is a full-time non-emergency medical transportation position primarily focused on stretcher transports, with occasional wheelchair transports as needed.
No CDL required.
No emergency response duties.
Company vehicle and fuel provided while working.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities
- Perform stretcher and wheelchair transports
- Safely load, secure, and unload passengers
- Communicate with dispatch throughout the day
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers and facility staff
Preferred Experience
- NEMT experience
- Stretcher transport experience
- Shuttle, bus, delivery, or transportation experience
- Customer service experience
This is a full-time position. No part-time openings are available at this time.
Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
