Become a key player as a Material Handler and Delivery Driver, assisting local customers from both shop locations using a ½ ton truck. You’ll manage shipments, check inventory, and ensure safe deliveries.
This role requires performing general labor while handling deliveries and managing incoming materials. You will pack shipments, verify orders, and inspect for any damage. Operating equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts will be part of your duties, with adherence to safety standards and quality procedures essential to the process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive ½ ton truck and trailer for deliveries
• Inspect shipments for damage and discrepancies
• Prepare and pack outgoing shipments accurately
• Receive and unload materials, verifying packing slips
• Sort, count, and log inventory accurately
Requirements:
• Knowledge of measuring tools and shop drawings
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License required
• Must lift heavy objects with dexterity
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Excellent punctuality and attendance record required
