Join our dynamic team as a Lumber Yard Delivery Driver & Warehouse Coordinator by becoming a vital part of our Post Frame Construction business! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for efficiently managing materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the safe and organized handling of lumber and building supplies. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support construction projects, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties
- Safely load, unload, and organize lumber and building materials using forklifts, telehandlers (telescopic forklift, boom lift). Make job site Deliveries & pick up material from Vendors.
- Operate heavy equipment such as Trucks, forklifts and telehandlers following OSHA safety standards to move large loads efficiently
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately to ensure timely delivery
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting materials, and maintaining inventory records in the warehouse management system
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stacking pallets properly and ensuring all materials are stored securely
- Support warehouse supervision by adhering to safety protocols, conducting routine equipment inspections, and reporting any mechanical issues or hazards
- Participate in regular safety training sessions focused on OSHA regulations and best practices for heavy equipment operation
Requirements
- Previous experience in Lumber distribution or construction environments preferred
- Valid Class A CDL License, with clean Driving Record and ability to pass ‘drug’ testing
- Proven skills in order picking, shipping & receiving, materials handling and warehouse management systems desired
- Valid certification for forklift operation; crane or clamp truck certification is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining proper form (ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs. )
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues quickly
- Experience operating forklifts, and other heavy machinery in a warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
