Logistics Coordinator Jobs in Mississauga, Canada at Breakaway Staffing
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our client’s day shift team in Mississauga, ON.
Pay: $28.00/hour
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
– Coordinating pickup/delivery schedules for freight shipments
– Preparing and processing shipping documents (BOLs, invoices, manifests) and maintaining records
– Communicating with truck drivers, carriers, warehouses, and customers to provide status updates, resolve delays, and negotiate rates
– Arranging freight loads and optimizing routes
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a Logistics Coordinator or similar role within the Transportation/Logistics industry
– Experience with shipping documents
– Strong customer service skills
– Strong negotiation skills
– High attention to detail
– Understanding of Transportation regulations and safety requirements
– Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
