Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member to join our growing logistics and retail operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on work, customer interaction, and coordination responsibilities.
You will play a key role in managing auction and gallery shipments—from pickup through packing and delivery—while also supporting our busy retail shipping and gift store. Over time, you will be trained to operate our specialized box-making equipment and become a core part of our packaging operation.
This is a dynamic position with real responsibility and growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Auction & Gallery Logistics
- Coordinate pickups with local auction houses and galleries
- Communicate with clients regarding shipping timelines and requirements
- Pick up items using company vehicles
- Professionally pack and ship high-value, fragile, and unique items
- Label, track, and manage outgoing shipments
Customer & Retail Support
- Assist customers with shipping, packaging, and retail purchases
- Provide excellent in-store customer service
- Support daily store operations, including checkout and organization
Packaging & Production
- Learn and operate our limited-run box-making machine
- Assist with custom packaging and crate building
- Maintain quality control standards for all outgoing shipments
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable handling fragile and high-value items
- Ability to lift and move packages (typically up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or moving/handling goods
- Experience with packing artwork, antiques, or fragile items
- Retail or customer service experience

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
