Responsibilities
- Operate a tractorand flatbed for local deliveries.
- Safely load and unload, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Drive efficiently along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations while maintaining punctuality.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Manage documentation such as delivery manifests, route logs, inspection reports, and load/unload records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle and ensure compliance with all company policies and safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a must.
- Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving within local areas is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload operations for various cargo types.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated.

Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
