Delivery Driver – Non-CDL or CDL
About:
Mobile Attic is a leader in the moving and storage industry in South Carolina, and we are currently seeking a Delivery Driver in our Columbia, SC. We own and operate two other locations in SC. Responsibilities:
- Perform Driver functions such as Loading/Unloading/Moving/Delivering Portable Storage Units
- Keep the facility clean and inventory updated
- Repair and maintain damaged containers, clean, caulk, paint, add signage, etc.
- Perform monthly parts inventory reconciliation
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily driver checklist and other paperwork.
- Manage/maintain all corporate-owned assets
- Manage customer experience to meet or exceed Mobile Attic’s customer satisfaction goals.
- Maintain all OSHA, DOT, and Preventative Maintenance Programs for the facility and equipment
- Perform quarterly self-audits, identify areas of improvement, and address deficiencies
- Responsible for adherence to internal company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- To qualify, you must have a good work history
- You must also have a clean driving record and be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
- Previous experience driving a large commercial truck (Non-CDL or CDL), mechanically inclined, and basic computer skills are a plus
- You need to be a person that enjoys working with your hands and is not afraid to work hard and get dirty sometimes.
- You also need to be someone who takes pride in your work.
- Excellent communication skills
