Join Our Team as a Local Driver Loader/Yard Coordinator!
Are you a motivated, safety-minded professional with a Class A CDL? Transport National is looking for a Local Driver Loader (LDL) to handle local pickups and deliveries, secure loads, and maintain our yard operations. You’ll also play a key part in keeping our yard organized, safe, and efficient.
What You’ll Do
- Perform local/regional pickups and deliveries.
- Load, secure, tarp, and strap freight; send load photos to Operations.
- Inspect equipment daily and pre-trip trailers.
- Operate forklifts and measure freight dimensions.
- Maintain yard inventory and organize equipment.
- Keep shop and yard clean and safe.
- Overtime available during peak times.
- Pitch in on other duties as assigned — teamwork makes the difference!
What We’re Looking For
- Required: Class A CDL, safety-focused, detail-oriented, team player.
- Desired: Forklift certification, flatbed experience.
- Safety-focused and dependable with strong attention to detail.
- A team player who can follow directions and work efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, pull, and reach frequently throughout the day.
- Lift up to 75 lbs unassisted as needed.
- Comfortable climbing trailers, loads, and ladders for securement and tarping.
- Work in outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Strong spatial awareness, depth perception, and reaction time.
