We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL-A Licensed Local Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers. To deliver freight efficiently within local routes. Your expertise in driving and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks to transport freight across local routes
- Drive 53 foot van trailers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Route driving efficiently while adhering to schedules, traffic laws, and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments and trips
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with freight handling experience
- Experience with load & unload procedures.
- Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices for efficiency and safety
- Strong commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance (DOT regulations)

Pay: $24.50 per hour
