Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Local Class A Shuttle Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely staging Trailers at our customers lot and empty trailers in doors to be loade.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A Spotter vehicle, including manual transmission trucks, to shuttle freight efficiently between Doors and Customer drop lots.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Communicate effectively with shipping and receiving departments to ensure seamless production.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Good driving record
- 6 months experience in truck driving, within the local area.
- Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks preferred.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols for commercial driving
