Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Regional Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience with truck pulling dump trailer or dump trucks. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks with manual transmission
- Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) class A and/or B for TWO years with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery driver experience.
- Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently while loading and unloading cargo.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving and freight transport.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
