Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and set up bounce houses and take charge of delivering efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving expertise while ensuring timely and secure deliveries. As a vital link in our logistics chain, you will operate our delivery box truck as well as set up bounce houses, water slides, high peak tents for events as well as delivery of tales and chairs to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Your dedication will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks
- Loading and unloading bounce houses, heavy equipment required for set up
- Set up bonce houses and waterslides selected by clients according to their events
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as dollies when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and refrigeration units if applicable.
- Follow planned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with delivery routes involving heavy equipment transportation.
- Familiarity with load securing techniques for different types of freight to ensure safe transport.
- Experience with handling backyard entertainment equipment
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment
