Position: Linehaul Coordinator-2
Fed Ex – – Responsibilities:
Direct the dispatch of transportation equipment in accordance with the Linehaul plan;
Coordinate and track the processing and movement of Fed Ex trailers, rental equipment, new trailers, and dollies;
Enter trip details into a Transportation Management System to ensure on time delivery and pickup of trailers;
Verify the location of equipment in the dispatch system by completing yard inventories;
Investigate and report schedule delays, accidents and equipment failures and implement contingency plans to ensure on-time load delivery
