Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of service.
Laborer for tile setters when not delivering. Prepping floors and showers, mixing thin set, grouting, clean up job sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate Van and other commercial vehicles for delivery purposes
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving of goods is essential
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
