We are looking for someone who loves driving and wants to join our team in leading the transport of bulk inventory from one of our wholesale partners in the Boston area to our Brooklyn shop 1-2 times per month.
Logistically this would involve us providing transport for you to get to Boston, where you would then pick up a U-Haul truck which would be pre-booked, picking up the bulk inventory just outside of Boston, and driving back (4.5-5.5 hours back depending on stops/traffic) to drop off the truck to our space in Bed Stuy that evening.
You will be compensated a flat rate per trip + food stipend and gas/travel expenses covered.
We also occasionally need routes from Brooklyn => North NJ => Brooklyn and Brooklyn => Jersey Shore covered which will be offered on a case-by-case basis.
You must be:
- 21+
- Licensed for over three years with experience operating large trucks (we typically use 15ft U-Haul Box Trucks for reference)
- Available on Thursdays 1-2 times per month as needed
- Punctual, organized, and willing to drive for long periods
We are always looking to grow our events staff so there is opportunity to continue with us on a more consistent basis as well!
