Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, to transport freight between intermodal facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Follow designated routes for local deliveries and pickups, adhering to schedules to ensure on-time service.
- Manage documentation accurately for shipments, including delivery receipts, load manifests, and safety logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold safety standards at all times during route driving activities.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience operating tractor-trailers in a commercial driving environment.
- Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route planning and load management.
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably and safely.
- Experience handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized freight is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or other loading equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to freight handling and truck driving.

Pay: $1,500.00 – $2,500.00 per week
