About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, traveling to job sites, and seeing a project come together from start to finish. As part of a small, high-performing crew, you will deliver and install premium outdoor structures—such as pergolas, pavilions, and gazebos—at customer locations throughout the region.
The right candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and motivated to learn while contributing to a strong team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with delivery of structures to customer locations (typically within a 3–4 hour radius)
- Safely operate or assist with NON-CDL trucks and trailers.
- Load, secure, and unload materials efficiently and safely
- Perform on-site assembly and installation of outdoor structures
- Read and interpret basic layout drawings and build instructions while using hand and power tools to complete builds to company quality standards
- Adapt to varying site conditions (terrain, access, weather, obstacles)
- Represent the company professionally at customer job sites
- Communicate clearly about schedules, expectations, and project progress
- Ensure customer satisfaction before leaving each installation
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Work involve working residential/commercial sites; must be able to pass criminal background check
- Construction, carpentry, or general building experience
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team mindset
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and remain active throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions)
Schedule, Pay & Growth Path
This role is full-time, with a lot of OT from Spring to Fall. A work week schedule of 6am-5pm is common. Early start times and variable daily schedules depend on job location. This is outdoor, physically active work with a rate of pay of $21/hr. Overnight travel up to (10 days/month) is common during the summer. Add’l compensation of $10/hr for out of town work is added to pay.
This role also offers long-term growth opportunities, including advancement into Foreman positions or transition into non-travel roles within our operations.
