Hotel Shuttle Driver Full Time Jobs in Salt Lake City, UT at Tru by Hilton SLC Airport / Comfort Inn and Suites SLC Airport
a ,the ,,the ,,We are hiring a Full Time hotel shuttle driver to pick up 32 – 40 hours per week.
The available shifts are 6am-2pm, or 2pm-10am, with flexibility to cover overnight shifts as needed.
Requires a clean driving record and an airport badge to drive shuttle to airport. If you do not have one, we will assist in getting one.
Basic Functions
Provide shuttle services for guests to & from the airport in compliance with Magnus Hotel Management standards. Provide guest service of the highest standard.
Reports to the General Manager of Tru by Hilton and Comfort Inn Suites.
*****Cleaning and upkeep during down times will be required and shift checklist will be followed for the Public/Lobby and exterior area of both hotels for cleanliness.
Specific Duties to Shuttle
- Quickly and safely transport guests to the airport for departures on our regular shuttle schedule and to a few other approved locations as defined by the General Manager.
- Quickly and safely respond to a dispatch to pick up guests at the airport for arrivals as coordinated by the front desk or management.
- Assist guests by lifting and carrying guest baggage on and off the shuttle van as needed. Shuttle Driver must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Provide information and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, attractions, directions, etc. in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain fuel levels in shuttle van
- Monitor and address ongoing maintenance needs of the shuttle van, including regular oil changes, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle van, including window/windshield washing, vacuuming of the interior, removing garbage, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of the hotel parking lot and general grounds.
- Maintain cleanliness of hotel lobby, corridors and other public area including, but not limited to: vacuuming; sweeping; mopping; dusting; washing windows, light fixtures, tables and other furniture; checking restrooms for janitorial service needs; picking up trash; pulling trash from trashcans; emptying cigarette ash urns; etc.
Secondary Responsibilities to Hotel Lobby/Public and Exterior areas.
- Read all posted memos.
- Adhere to Magnus Hotel Management’s telephone etiquette.
- Replenish market supplies and coffee station supplies.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
- Assist in other departments/areas of the hotel (breakfast, laundry, housekeeping, etc.) following a shift checklist for both hotels for public/lobby and exterior trash areas for cleanliness expectations.
- Possess working knowledge of the hotel, its facilities, events, departmental functions and personnel to respond to direct inquires as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 – $13.00 per hour
