Where Do We Run?
- Local and regional routes within a 250-mile radius of Nashville
- Home daily after your shift (barring unforeseen circumstances)
What Do We Haul?
- Primarily palletized, no-touch freight (F.A.K.)
- No tailgating and no pallet jacking required
Equipment
- Late-model International day cabs (all automatic)
- 53’ dry vans — mostly new, some older but well maintained
- Approximately 50% of trailers equipped with air-slide tandems
Start Times
- Shifts typically start between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM
- Your daily start time can be set with dispatch
Weekend Work
- Schedules may include weekend days
- Monday–Friday drivers may pick up weekend shifts upon request
Night Work
- Occasional night linehaul or shuttle positions available
- Availability varies — check with dispatch
- Night shifts are Monday–Friday only (no weekend nights)
Holidays
- 6 paid holidays
- Guaranteed off: Christmas Day & Thanksgiving Day
- Must be available on other holidays unless PTO is requested 2 weeks in advance
- Work a holiday → holiday pay + regular hourly pay

Work Environment
- Very few appointment-based loads
- Dispatch is supportive and driver-focused
- Freight must move — steady, consistent work
Pay
- All drivers are paid hourly
- Earn up to $28.50/hr, depending on shift, days worked, experience, and incentives
Attendance Incentive
- Begins after your first full calendar month
- Perfect attendance earns +$2/hr for the following month
- Miss a day → incentive is lost for the next month
- Incentive can be earned again after a full qualifying month
A Typical Day at Jit-Ex
Option 1
- Pick up an empty trailer at the terminal
- Drop empty in Nashville
- Pick up a loaded trailer
- Live unload at 1–2 stops
- Live load a backhaul
- Return to terminal and drop trailer
Option 2
- Pick up a loaded trailer at the terminal
- Deliver in or near Nashville
- Drop empty at next location
- Pick up another load and deliver
- If time allows, take a backhaul
- Return to the terminal

Pay: $73,148.00 – $81,049.00 per year
