Job Summary
Dedicated runs from Joliet IL, round trip right back to Joliet IL, daily to OH, MI, Ky, Wi, and IN. All miles paid! Home daily. 7K to 9K gross weekly plus more if work Saturday or Sunday.

Duties
- Safely operate semi tractor-trailers across designated round-trip routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manage the loading and unloading of freight using appropriate equipment such as electric pallet jacks when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- Handle various types of freight including refrigerated goods.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate timely pickups and deliveries.
- Perform route driving with a focus on efficiency, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Valid semi commercial driver’s license (CDL-A). One year or more, 2 yrs. plus preferred
- Proven experience in truck driving, including tractor-trailer operations and route driving
- Ability to operate confidently and safely.
- Familiarity with specialized equipment like electric pallet jack is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in recent years
