Position: HIAB Licensed Crane Driver Needed
WM is seeking a dedicated Class 3 Spare board Crane Driver with a HIAB license for their Nanaimo, BC site. Enjoy ten-hour shifts and contribute to essential waste services.
This role covers for absent drivers, managing diverse tasks and operations throughout your shifts. You will handle containers, navigate busy roadways, and ensure safe and efficient services. Your expertise in handling heavy-duty trucks is crucial, making this a vital position within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate trucks with lift attachments
• Perform required vehicle inspections and report issues
• Provide excellent service while communicating customer needs
• Collaborate with management to optimize route efficiency
• Ensure locations are clean after service
Requirements:
• 1 year of Class 3 driving experience
• Must possess a valid SIN and permit to work in Canada
• Successful background and drug screening
• Skilled in navigation and vehicle operation
• Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules
