Job Description
The current opportunity is a container operation and will involve moving containers throughout the UK. It will also include loading and unloading at our customer sites and some manual handling may be required.
Shifts
- Monday-Friday Days – £14.60 per hour
- Monday-Friday Nights – £15.80 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Day – £17.60 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Night – £18.10 per hour
- Bank Holidays – £18.41 per hour
Qualifications
- Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
- Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
- Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
- Adhering to Driver’s hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation
Additional Information
- You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers)
- No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions
- Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
- Understand and be able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and to report defects correctly
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
