Job Title: Heavy Haul Driver / Mechanic (Class B → Class A Growth)

Job Summary:
We are hiring a dependable, self-sufficient individual to support our heavy haul and fleet operations. This role is a mix of heavy haul driving, mechanical work, and stepping in where needed—including running a dump truck and assisting with dust control operations.
This is not a single-focus position. The right candidate can move between driving, wrenching, and supporting field operations while keeping equipment running and jobs moving.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy haul truck and trailer (lowboy, equipment transport)
- Safely load, secure, and transport heavy equipment
- Perform detailed pre-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance
- Step in as a dump truck driver when needed
- Assist with dust control spraying using company spray trucks
- Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and job-ready
Mechanical & Fleet Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field and shop
- Coordinate repairs and minimize downtime
- Assist in maintaining fleet records and service schedules
- Take ownership of equipment condition and readiness
Equipment Operation (As Needed):
- Operate excavators, dozers, skid loaders, and other equipment
- Assist on job sites when not hauling or working on equipment
Growth Opportunities:
- Assist in overseeing fleet performance and condition
- Provide input on equipment purchases, upgrades, and replacements
- Grow into a role supporting fleet management and operations decisions
Qualifications:
- Class B CDL required
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL (required for long-term growth)
- Strong mechanical repair experience or background
- Ability to operate independently and stay organized
- Reliable, efficient, and takes ownership of work
- Experience with heavy haul, dump trucks, or equipment preferred
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay $60,000 – $75,000

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Early morning start times
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
