Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and commercial trucks to support construction projects, site development, and material transportation. Your expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment on diverse construction sites, contributing to impactful infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling machines, tankers, and paving machinery with precision and safety.
- Drive commercial trucks including dump trucks and other specialized vehicles to transport materials to and from construction sites.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on all machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist in site preparation activities by grading, excavating, backfilling, and leveling terrain as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance activities, and transportation records.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators (including Caterpillar models), dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, tankers, and paving machinery.
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving dump trucks and other large vehicles.
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with construction materials handling and transportation logistics.

Pay: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour
