Schedule: Monday–Friday | Local Routes | Home Daily
Typical Hours: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM (or until route completion)

Edgestone Staffing is currently seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and experienced Hazmat CDL B Truck Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for steady weekday work, competitive pay, and local routes that allow you to be home every day.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL B commercial vehicles on scheduled local routes
- Transport and deliver freight in a timely and professional manner
- Operate various truck configurations including:
- Tankers
- Flatbeds
- Refrigerated trailers
- Dump trucks
- Roll-off trucks
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or other equipment when needed
- Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and inspection records
- Follow DOT regulations and all safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries and schedules
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License (Required)
- Valid Hazmat Endorsement (Required)
- Minimum 2 years CDL B driving experience
- Minimum 2 years Hazmat experience
- Previous route driving and delivery experience preferred
- Strong understanding of freight handling and transportation safety
- Ability to start early mornings when needed (4:30 AM occasionally)

- Experience with manual transmission vehicles
- Strong time-management and customer service skills
- Clean driving record
- Dependable and punctual
Experience
- Driving: 3 years (Required)
- Route driving: 3 years (Preferred)
- Delivery driving: 2 years (Required)
