About the job:
As a General Laborer assisting with deliveries, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery driver and ensuring that goods are delivered safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with deliveries to grocery stores and butcher shops.
• Hand booming up to 50 lbs and lifting with a hand cart up to 80 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods during delivery tasks.
• Performing tasks in both outdoor and indoor environments, in various weather conditions.
• Ensuring the safety of yourself and others while performing physical tasks, with attention to detail in preventing hazards like slips, trips, and falls.
• Following company safety protocols and standards.
This is an active and physical role that requires teamwork, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing environments and delivery needs.
Start/End
Hours:
• 7:00 a.m. start, until all deliveries are completed.
• Three days a week (schedule varies depending on holidays).
What you need:
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions and also indoors.
• Attention to safety protocols to prevent slips, trips, falls, and strains.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a good work ethic.
