Role Description The Full-Time Taxi Driver at Griffith Executive Travel will provide safe, professional, and courteous chauffeur services to clients in Staffordshire. Day-to-day responsibilities include driving the Mercedes V-Class to scheduled destinations, assisting passengers with boarding and luggage, and maintaining a clean and comfortable vehicle environment. The driver will manage routes and timings, use navigation tools to plan journeys efficiently, and adapt to traffic or scheduling changes while keeping clients informed. The role involves delivering a high level of customer service, handling client requests discreetly, and presenting a professional appearance at all times. This is an on-site role based in Staffordshire, requiring flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong driving skills, including a clean and valid driver’s license, excellent road awareness, and adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, remain courteous and professional, and provide a welcoming experience for all passengers.
- Basic technical and navigation skills, including use of GPS, in-car entertainment systems, and mobile devices to manage bookings and routes.
- Organizational and time-management skills to plan journeys, meet schedules, and handle multiple bookings efficiently.
- Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation, with attention to detail in preparing the car for each client.
- Reliability and integrity, including punctuality, respect for client privacy, and careful handling of confidential information.
- Good knowledge of Staffordshire and surrounding areas, local routes, and key transport hubs.
- Previous experience in taxi driving, chauffeuring, private hire, or other professional driving roles is beneficial.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and, where required, relevant taxi/private hire licensing and background checks.
