Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while providing excellent customer service. Drivers with previous experience with Fedex, Ups, and Amazon are urged to apply now.
Duties
– Safely operate delivery vehicles such as vans, box trucks, or other designated vehicles
– Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through various routes
– Load and unload goods using equipment such as dollie’s or by hand
– Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules
– Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
– Perform heavy lifting and ensure proper handling of all items
Experience
Required:
– Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
– Valid Chauffeurs license.
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Ability to lift packages weighing between 5lbs-55lbs on a daily basis
– Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Nice-to-have:
– Experience driving box trucks or larger vehicles
– Familiarity with route driving and navigation apps
– Proficiency in using dollie’s, pallet jacks, or similar equipment
– Previous experience in courier services
