Full-Time Driver – Wedding Cake & Catering Deliveries Jobs in Tampa at AAL Holdings LLC.
Alessi Bakeries is happy to announce that we are looking for a reliable and professional Full-Time Driver to join our team. This position involves delivering wedding cakes (some up to 4 tiers), catering orders, and other bakery products to event venues, companies, and private customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, patient, and able to represent our bakery with professionalism, especially when working with event coordinators who may be under pressure on the day of an event.
**The pay for this position is $15.00/hour plus tips.**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Safely transport and deliver wedding cakes, catering orders, and bakery products to venues, businesses, and private clients.
- Handle large, delicate cakes with care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with event coordinators, clients, and venue staff.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude, even in high-pressure situations.
- Assisting with counter sales, customer service, and order coordination at the bakery when not making deliveries.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving and delivering delicate or perishable items preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling multi-tiered cakes.
- Excellent time management skills; ability to work independently and responsibly
- Patience and professionalism when interacting with clients and event coordinators.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds carry heavy items as needed.
- Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
