Full Time CDL A Delivery Drivers Jobs in Allentown, PA at Primo Produce
Primo Number One in Produce, a family-owned business located in Allentown, PA has been in business for over 30 years and is hiring Class A CDL Delivery Drivers for assigned routes.
Schedules and routes can vary daily and weekly, and driver must be available on holidays, weekdays and weekends. Additional scheduling details will be discussed during interviews.
Primo consistently distributes fresh produce and other specialty items to the Northeast. Thousands of different items from all over the world arrive daily, quickly making their way to a wide variety of customers.
The Primo Difference:
- Hourly pay based upon experience and MVR
- Overtime available after 40 hours
- Limited touch freight
- Routes start between 11pm and 4am
- Single overnight runs required with added layover pay incentive*
Position requirements:
- A clean driving record
- 3 years of successful CDL driving experience
- Must be available on holidays, weekdays and weekends
- Must be available for overnight runs as business needs arise
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse* prior to start
- Proven record of reliability and excellent attendance
- Safely drive trucks and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Verify order accuracy, customer invoices and obtain proper signatures
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities
- Must have valid CDL issued by the state of legal residence
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 50 lbs
- Must be comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions
Compensation is based on experience: $26.00/hour to $28.00+/hour
Bi-weekly pay schedule.
