Role Description
This full-time position is for a Fuel Delivery Driver based on-site in Victoria, BC. The role involves delivering fuel to customers in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, handling fuel tanks and pumps, adhering to all safety protocols, and ensuring proper documentation of deliveries. The driver will also maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class 3 or higher) with air brake endorsement
- Experience operating fuel delivery trucks and knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain records
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle fuel delivery equipment
- Previous experience in fuel delivery or similar industries is an asset
- Commitment to safety practices and environmental standards
- Deliver fuel to our client base in a timely fashion within a designated area
- Fuel up fleets, heavy equipment machinery, generators, complete bulk tank drops and or trains
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer demands
- Work independently and or as a team to complete your route for the day
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
- Use a hand-held computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being disposed from the truck
