Fuel Cube and Oil Delivery Driver Jobs in Mendon, MA at Devaney Energy Inc.
Oil Delivery Drivers perform safe and efficient loading and deliveries of petroleum products to various locations as assigned. Manage fuel cubes to include, receiving, comparison to BOL, testing for leaks and damages, managing inventory, set up and prepare and deliver fuel cubes to customers as assigned.
Responsibilities:
· Receiving fuel cubes and comparing to bill of lading (BOLS).
· Testing fuel cubes for leaks and damage.
· Maintain inventory of fuel cubes.
· Pull, set up and prepare for delivery.
· Load and deliver products to commercial and residential customer sites in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.
Communicates in a timely manner with dispatchers, maintaining a schedule and making sure any delays are properly communicated to the customer.
Follows a standardized format for customer delivery ensuring all company policies, procedures, handbooks, manuals, and state/local and federal codes are adhered to in a safe efficient manner.
Documents all deliveries upon completion.
Interact with customers and co-workers respectfully and in a manner that supports the company commitment to service excellent and customer satisfaction.
Notifies dispatchers of any issues that require repair or compromise delivery or service.
Technical Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience with commercial driving and home heating oil and diesel delivery.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) license for the proper weight and classification, minimum Class B with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements, or a combo endorsement (X). The license may not contain any Air Brakes (L) or (Z) Restriction(s)
- TWIC certification.
- A valid DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record.
- Ten years employment history.
- Pass a road test – driving/safety skills.
- Hoisting license is preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to pass company-provided drug and alcohol test.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on call shifts.
Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour
