Title: Forklift Driver

Location: Lusaka, Lusaka Province, Zambia
Role Purpose:
To safely and efficiently operate forklift equipment to support warehouse and distribution operations by ensuring accurate movement, storage, and dispatch of stock, while maintaining strict adherence to Safety, Quality, and Operational Excellence standards.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Safely operate forklifts to load, offload, move and stack pallets
- Ensure accurate stock handling in line with FIFO/FEFO principles
- Maintain high safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
- Complete equipment checks and basic forklift maintenance logs
- Identify and report damaged, leaking, or non-conforming stock
- Support stock takes, audits, and general warehouse operations
- Deliver strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Adhere to all SOPs and Health & Safety regulations
Skills and requirements for this role include:
- Valid forklift licence (essential)
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Strong understanding of safety practices and operating procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-paced environment
- Team player with strong accountability and reliability
