Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you’ll ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and safe before they hit the road. You are the face of Penske – greeting customers and leaving them with a smile.
Main Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections to verify tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items.
- Maintaining clean and safe facilities for customers and associates.
- Building skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs.
- Completing other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.

General Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to work outside.
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
- Compliance with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management.
- Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies, including correct tool selection, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practice.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
- Driving Penske and customer vehicles requires a current driver qualification file. The file includes annual motor‑vehicle records check, DOT physical, safety performance history from prior employers, and for CDL holders a DOT drug screening.
- Willingness to work required schedule, location, complete Penske employment application, background screening, drug screen, physical, and potential travel for training.
Physical Requirements
- Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods.
- Use hands routinely to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, or operate tools or controls.
- Work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated platforms.
- Work safely in all weather conditions.
- Have vision and hearing to navigate workplace with large trucks.
- Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg). Push/pull truck tires exceeding 100 lbs.
