Flatbed Truck Driver Job Description
Position Title: Flatbed Truck Driver (CDL Class A)
Location: OTR-Midwest/South
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Flatbed Driver to transport freight throughout the Midwest and southern states. The ideal candidate will have experience securing loads, maintaining DOT compliance, and delivering excellent customer service while operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle hauling flatbed freight.
- Secure loads using chains, straps, tarps, and other load securement equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and transportation records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
- Deliver freight on time while ensuring cargo safety.
- Report equipment issues and arrange maintenance when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Minimum 2 years of OTR driving experience preferred.
- Flatbed experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Clean MVR and strong safety record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work associated with load securement and tarping.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Ability to travel .
