Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Technician role located in the Midland-Odessa Area. The Field Technician will support acidizing, stimulation, and related oilfield operations by safely operating and monitoring equipment such as kill trucks, FRP transport units, pumps, and associated tools. Daily responsibilities include assisting with job setup and rig-up, handling chemicals and materials according to safety standards, conducting basic equipment inspections, and performing routine maintenance tasks as directed. The role involves collecting and recording field data, communicating job status to supervisors and crew members, and following written procedures and work instructions to ensure efficient and compliant operations. The Field Technician will also be expected to adhere to company safety policies, participate in safety meetings, and collaborate with team members to complete jobs with a high level of integrity and service quality.

Qualifications

  • Ability to safely operate field equipment (e.g., trucks, pumps, hoses, valves) and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting minor issues, and supporting equipment maintenance.
  • Strong awareness of safety practices, including proper handling of chemicals, use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with environmental and regulatory guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, crew members, and customers, and for accurately documenting field activities.
  • Capacity to work in outdoor, physically demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing or operating equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime, based on operational needs.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience (e.g., CDL) is a plus.
  • Previous oilfield, acidizing, stimulation, or related field experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in oilfield
