We are seeking a responsible and reliable Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. The ideal candidate will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner while providing excellent customer service.
Our drivers deliver to customers throughout McDowell, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties, so the ability to work efficiently across these areas is important.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses using established routes
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Ask for feedback on provided services and help resolve customer concerns
- Complete delivery logs and reports as required
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely in various weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move packages as required
Work Area:
Deliveries are primarily made throughout McDowell, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties.
