Merritt Trucking is looking for a top-notch Truck Driver to join our heavy haul team! We specialize in hauling heavy loads, including earthmoving equipment, road work machinery, and all types of oversized heavy equipment. If it’s heavy, we haul it!

Responsibilities
- Load and unload equipment as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of equipment.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries or pickups while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo handled.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Demonstrate proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Heavy Hauler with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and safety regulations related to truck driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
