We are seeking an energetic and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and unload materials across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. Duties
- Operate dump trucks with manual transmission or automatic as required, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials.
- Load and unload freight, debris, or other materials at designated sites using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks.
- Drive on designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and optimize route efficiency.
Requirements
- Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, delivery routes, or similar roles involving freight transport.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation and material handling.
- Strong understanding of route driving, traffic laws, and regulations governing commercial vehicles.
