Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dump Truck Driver. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other construction or industrial loads. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient delivery and pickup of freight across various jobs.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks with manual and automatic transmissions, ensuring smooth and safe handling during loading, transport, and unloading processes
- Drive route-specific deliveries to construction sites and asphalt plants.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before operating the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups promptly
Experience
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty commercial vehicles in a professional setting
- Familiarity with manual transmission truck driving and route driving across diverse terrains.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
