Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our team and contribute to our ongoing construction, demolition, and material hauling projects. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads efficiently and safely across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our operations, supporting large-scale projects with energy and precision.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks with automatic transmission or other specified configurations to transport construction materials safely across multiple sites
- Load and unload materials accurately
- Follow designated routes for delivery, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate any logistical challenges
Requirements
- Valid class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) operating dump trucks
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections, route planning
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel
