Position: Driver’s Mate (Driving
We are looking for a Driver’s Mate (Driving) to join us in delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos.
Role Overview
This job is based out of our Basingstoke Branch – RG24 8WH
and supports the driver with deliveries by assisting with loading, unloading, navigation, and ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery service.
Responsibilities
- Helping the driver to safely secure the load onto the vehicle
- Assisting the driver with deliveries, as per the driver’s requests and aiding with navigation
- Complying with health and safety rules and regulations
- Keeping your vehicle clean
- Unloading the goods to customers with assistance of the driver
- Represent Dunster House to a superb standard, as an ambassador of the company
Requirements
- UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Experience with delivery driving or driver’s mate’s duties
- Driving and navigation ability
- Manual handling experience
What We Offer
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week averaged over 52 weeks per year.
- £26,437 per annum
- 29 days holiday including bank holidays
