We are seeking a Class A And Class B CDL Dump Truck Drivers/Laborer to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Construction experience is a plus.
Job Requirements :
- Class A-CDL or Class B-CDL License.
- Must have 2 yrs. experience in driving
- Must be able to drive manual trucks
- Current DOT medical card required.
- Drug screen and insurable driver license required for all positions.
- Commercial driver’s license
- Fuse plastic pipe
- Install gas lines/electric and/or telecommunications cables
- Locate utilities
- Work with Operators as spotter
- Align pipes in pipeline sections
- Dig trenches with trenching tools
- Slide pipe into trenches
- Cover pipes or cable with dirt or other material
- Must pass Fusion Qualification tests annually
- Ability to operate and maintain power tools
- Ability to recognize and record pressure readings
- Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Trench safety and DOT job site safety training experience preferred
- Must be able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift/push/pull 75+ pounds regularly
