Job Title: Driver/Warehouse Associate
Location: On-site, Edison, NJ
Compensation: $20-22/hr

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Driver/Warehouse Associate to transport materials and products to various locations throughout New Jersey and New York City. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires both driving and physical labor. Candidates must have a clean driving record, prior forklift experience, and the ability to safely lift and move heavy materials. This position combines warehouse responsibilities with local and regional driving duties, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy a hands-on work environment and being on the road.
**Candidates should be comfortable navigating both New Jersey routes and New York City pickups.**
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups throughout New Jersey.
- Travel to New York City approximately two days per week to pick up customer or supplier orders.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Verify delivery contents and ensure orders are transported accurately and securely.
- Assist with organizing inventory and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety procedures, traffic laws, and warehouse protocols.
- Maintain professionalism and strong communication during customer and vendor interactions.
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating a forklift required.
- Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
