Tradelink Mitcham are looking for an enthusiastic Driver/Storeperson to join their dynamic, fast-paced branch. You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations moving, completing local deliveries while providing exceptional service to customers. This is a newly created role to support branch growth, with the majority of your time spent on the road and some hands-on support in the branch when required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting same-day, local deliveries and return runs
- Safely loading and unloading goods at customer and supplier sites
- Providing friendly customer service at the pick-up point
- Liaising with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries
- Performing daily vehicle checks and maintaining logbooks
- Ensuring all goods are handled, transported and delivered safely and efficiently
- Supporting branch operations when required
What you’ll bring:
- Current driver’s licence (MR/HR and forklift licences are a bonus)
- A “can-do” attitude, hardworking nature, and ability to work both independently and in a small team
- Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable with a strong work ethic
- Professional presentation and a friendly, customer-focused approach
- Team player with a proactive attitude, ready to get involved
- Open to entry-level candidates or those looking for a career change – full training provided
- Full Australian or New Zealand working rights – Sponsorship is not available (no temporary visas).
