CDL Class A Driver Recruiter

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated CDL Class A Driver Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire qualified Class A CDL drivers for OTR, regional, and local routes. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting professional drivers and a strong understanding of DOT regulations, driver qualification requirements, and the trucking industry.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and hire qualified CDL Class A drivers through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct phone interviews and pre-screen applicants.
- Verify CDL Class A credentials, driving records, work history, and DOT compliance requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation scheduling, and hiring paperwork.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting reports.
- Build relationships with industry groups, and referral partners.
- Meet weekly and monthly driver hiring goals.
- Work closely with operations and safety departments to ensure quality hires.
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting experience in transportation or trucking preferred.
- Knowledge of CDL Class A driver requirements and DOT regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and hiring priorities.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.

Preferred Experience
