Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area for a Driver / Parts Runner. The position involves transporting parts, materials, and equipment between the company, job sites, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include verifying shipments, maintaining inventory logs, assisting with stocking, and ensuring timely, safe deliveries. The role also involves collaborating with the team to support operational efficiency, while performing basic vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining logs and verifying shipments
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of the Greater Chicago Area and ability to plan efficient routes
- Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as delivery or warehouse support, is a plus
- Basic mechanical skills or familiarity with vehicle maintenance is beneficial
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to drive during the day and night in all weather conditions
- Must be physically fit and able to lift/carry over 75 lbs
- Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 0° to 120°F
- Must be able to pass random drug testing
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
